On June 25, 2009, the 30kt/a dimethyl ether production unit at Jilin Songyuan Xinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., for which our company provided the complete design, was successfully commissioned on the first attempt. Product quality and all other performance indicators met design specifications.

  The dimethyl ether produced by this unit is of fuel grade, with a purity of over 99%. The production process consumes 1.40 tons of methanol, ≤1.42 tons of steam, and ≤90 m³ of circulating water per ton of dimethyl ether, with a methanol content in the wastewater of ≤100 ppm.

  The unit employs a two-step gas-phase methanol dehydration process to produce dimethyl ether, utilizing multiple patented proprietary technologies from our company, including a new low-energy-consumption clean production process for dimethyl ether and a novel dimethyl ether synthesis reactor. The key features of this unit are high conversion rates, low energy consumption, and minimal environmental impact. Additionally, it is capable of producing aerosol-grade dimethyl ether, allowing for flexible adjustment of the product mix.
